It was pretty straightforward, first a call, then an in-person meeting. They asked about my previous experience, what I'm studying, and why I'm interested in the role. It felt very casual. I expect to hear back about an offer in about a week. If I don't hear anything by then, it probably means I didn't get it.

I applied and got an email about two days later to schedule a phone interview for about 30 minutes. A few days after that, I had an online interview on Microsoft Teams that lasted about an hour. The phone call was basic and seemed to check for specific skills. The Teams interview was with three team members and they asked more detailed and leading questions. I got a rejection email a week after the Teams interview.

So, I had a pretty bad interview experience. They asked about salary right on the application, which was weird. Then the interview process dragged on for 4 months! Finally, they gave me an offer, but it was 35% less than what I asked for, and even what I asked for was pretty low. When I tried to negotiate, they said they'd get back to me in a few days, and then... crickets. I ended up taking another job that paid almost $30k more than their offer.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was honestly one of the worst interview experiences I've ever had. I interviewed with a manager, a project manager, and a director. When I went into the room, everyone was sitting in different spots around the table. The PM ended up sitting on my side. During the interview, most of them were glued to their computers. I'm not even sure why the director was there because he seemed totally uninterested. One person was asking the usual interview questions, but everyone else was just clicking away on their computers and seemed completely checked out.
