The FairWarning interview process for the MPS role is quite rigorous. I went through interviews with 5 different hiring managers to assess my fit. After those interviews, I had to submit a letter to the CEO explaining my suitability for MPS and the FairWarning culture before moving forward. They are very selective about who will thrive in their environment, which is why they are particular, but it's for a good reason.

So the interview process was quite long. First, a recruiter reached out for a phone interview that went for about 45 minutes. Then, there were two more phone interviews, each about 30 minutes long. These phone calls were pretty laid-back, focusing more on getting to know me as a person rather than just my resume. After those three phone chats, I was invited for four in-person interviews at their office. The on-site part lasted around three and a half hours, and I met with two people I'd already spoken to on the phone. I saw all four people back-to-back. Not long after that, I was asked to write a letter to the CEO, sort of as a final step. I sent it in, but unfortunately, they decided not to extend an offer a few days later.

The interview process was nice, but unfortunately short. I spoke with an HR rep who asked me a few questions that weren't pertained to the position, but she was nice and pleasant to talk to. She set up a second phone interview with the department manager. He seemed pretty disinterested as soon as I said hello. He asked similar questions to the HR rep and clearly had not even looked over my resume. I explained my knowledge of analyzing data and working with clients, my advanced degree, but it was like he was looking for me to say some unknown key word to advance to the next round. He wasn't rude but it just seemed like he had better things to be doing. The interview lasted less than 15 minutes, then I ask him a few questions. He then advised HR would contact me on what the next step would be, which I took as he was afraid to tell me I would not be moving to the next phase of the process. His people skills were surprisingly nonexistent. I could be wrong but I doubt I will be hearing back from HR based on all the reviews I have read.
