I found this job online and applied. A few days later, I got a call from HR for a phone interview. The Hiring Manager and Lead Engineer were on the call. They asked me some technical questions and some about my background. It went well, so I flew to Portland, Maine the following week for an in-person interview. It was about 4-5 hours long. They asked a lot of basic electronics questions and about my background. I also had to show them my hands-on skills in the lab. Finally, HR asked me some behavioral questions. This part didn't go as well as the phone interview, and I got rejected about two weeks later.

The interview process involved both technical and behavioral questions. The interviewers were direct and focused on technical aspects. They also inquired about your college projects or thesis, connecting them to your engineering skills. Strong academic performance is preferred, but showing passion for electronics and a commitment to self-improvement would be beneficial.

I was contacted by HR and scheduled for 3 phone interviews, which started on time. The interviewers seemed well-prepared and familiar with my resume. Following that, I had a 2-hour lunch with the VP and two director-level managers. It was a very casual discussion covering a range of non-technical topics and more behavioral questions. Finally, I had an onsite interview with another director. Everyone involved was friendly and helpful.

First, submit an application letter. If the job you want is open, the HR person will call you for an entrance exam, which is an IQ test. After you pass, there are a few interviews (about 3-4). Before the first one, you'll get a quick analytical test. The first interview is with the department you'd be working in. The second is probably with the department heads, and then a security interview. If you pass that, they'll ask for your pre-employment documents.
