First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fahrenheit IT.
Senior Technical Program Manager
It started with a phone interview, and then later that week we met for an in-person chat over coffee. I got the offer the same day we met. I dressed up in a suit and tie, but the person interviewing me was in jeans and a sweater vest.
- Can you share your background?
- What processes and technologies are you familiar with?
Industrial Engineer
I got contacted and wasn't sure if the company was legit, so they gave me all the info I needed. The recruiter was chill and gave me a good idea of what the company needed. After that, I had a phone interview with the contract company. They were cool and had realistic expectations, but asked some tough questions. Once that was done, I had to wait for the background check and screen results, and then I got hired.
- What are some strategies for motivating people in a virtual setting?
Systems Administrator
Started with a phone screen with Fahrenheit, mostly to get a feel for my background. Then had a phone interview with the potential employer, where they went into more detail about the role and their needs. Finally, an in-person interview with the employer to meet and interview with the team, giving us a chance to get to know each other and see if we'd be a good personality fit.
- Do you have experience with VMWare?
Bartender
It was a pretty straightforward interview, happened during the day before the restaurant opened. The manager wanted to know a few drink recipes. We also chatted about my past experience and what I'm hoping to get out of this job.
- Can you share some drink recipes?
- Tell me about your previous bartending experience.
