The interviewer I spoke with was very kind! She made me feel at ease and was very helpful when I got stuck. By far, it was probably the most enjoyable interview I've had thus far.

Got an invite from HR to schedule. Interview was 10 days later. On the interview day, the person rescheduled due to conflict. Rescheduled the meeting. On the day of the interview, the interviewer called, described the company, and asked a question about trees. Solved the question and answered the follow-up question with space and time complexities. Interviewer negotiated while solving the problem and seemed impressed. An hour after the interview, received an email stating skill set doesn't match and not the correct background for the position. It feels like a waste of time and emotions when they shortlist, call, and then reject with a template email saying background doesn't match. It would be better to provide feedback instead of assuming they are impressed. Recruiters should be changed for shortlisting candidates with the right background instead of scheduling interviews and then rejecting. It seems like fake interviews for records and reports without any intention to hire.

I had a terrible experience - not with the interview itself, but with getting responses from the company and trying to actually get the interview itself. I talked to Factual recruiters at my university career fair, and gave them my resume. I received an email within the next week, and I ended up scheduling an interview with them. When the interview date arrived, the interviewer didn't call me, and the recruiter didn't bother emailing me. I sent the recruiter an email telling them what had happened, and the recruiter took almost a week to respond, answering with a vague excuse. She asked me if I was available for another interview, and when I told her my availabilities, I just got radio silence from her again.
