I applied for a job but didn't hear back for a while. Then, a recruiter contacted me about a different role that sounded interesting, so I went in for an interview. On the same day, I was asked if I'd like to interview for another position, and I agreed. The first part involved two separate one-on-one interviews where my resume wasn't reviewed, and the questions weren't relevant. The second set of interviews was similar, with two more one-on-one rounds. One interviewer joined because their colleague had to work from home. The experience was the same. As I was leaving, the recruiter mentioned a third job that seemed like a perfect fit. I never heard back about the first two jobs, even after a follow-up email. For the third job, I had a phone interview the day after the in-person ones. The following week, I met two people via video conference in the office. The final round was with a senior person. I got an offer, but the job turned out to be quite different from what the recruiter described. Also, the recruiter and boss seemed to forget my start date, so no one was around for my first two weeks. It was quite strange.

I applied online and got a phone interview within 2 days. The interviewer was a bit late, calling 8 minutes after the scheduled time. The interview started with a few questions: why I applied, if I had location constraints (I said no), and about my work authorization (I'm on OPT). The interview ended abruptly because they don't hire OPT candidates, which was frustrating given they didn't filter this beforehand. My advice to OPT students applying to Factset is to confirm if they hire OPT for the specific role.

It started with a self-introduction. The interviewer was mainly focused on Python. You should be fully prepared on your resume regarding projects and internships. Practice solving the most repeated interview questions from LeetCode. The interview was easy, and they were helpful if we made mistakes, allowing us to correct them easily.
