Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FactSet.
Client Service Associate
The interview process was pretty chill and the people were nice. First, there was a HR screen, then a behavioral interview, and an Excel test. The last step was an in-person meeting at the office where I had to give a presentation on a topic they assigned and answer some technical questions that were about medium difficulty.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Client Service Associate
This was the second round for the CSA role, and it was a technical round. It included an Excel test and a product test. There was also a behavioural round to see if I was a good fit and motivated for the role.
- What motivated you to apply to Factset and for this specific position?
Client Services
We did a group interview with a case interview component. It was okay. Eight people were in one group, and each group discussed and presented on three cases. There was a short presentation too, which was okay. Then there was a manager interview where they asked professional things like financial terms and recent news and trends.
- What recent news is most relevant?
- What is your greatest weakness?
- Could you explain what FactSet is in simple terms, as if to your grandpa?
