I went through five rounds of interviews at Factorial, including a big case study and an office visit where I met the CRO. They even asked for references, but never actually contacted them. After putting in a lot of time and effort, I just got a standard rejection email with no feedback at all. It felt unorganized, rude, and like they didn't care about my time. Just be ready for a long process that doesn't seem to respect your efforts.

An external recruiter reached out. They communicated well, and the first two interviews were also very smooth and direct, but well-handled. I actually had meaningful conversations, which is why I didn't see it as a bad experience. The final case discussion is what messed it up. I had to prep and give a 30' presentation. It started almost 10' late with no heads-up, and the room they were in had terrible audio, which I pointed out. They kept interrupting, and it felt like they were completely off-topic from the presentation brief. I didn't get to ask any questions because they were rushing to another meeting. Then, a week later, they rejected me without any feedback, which is a lot after asking candidates to spend at least 4-8 hours on a business case.

The interview process was smooth and well-structured, consisting of four interviews conducted over the span of eight days. Each stage was clearly communicated, which made the experience feel organized and transparent. I had the pleasure of speaking with Julia during one of the interviews, her positive attitude and professionalism stood out immediately. She created a comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to have a productive conversation. Additionally, I had interviews with three other team members, and every one of them was kind, professional, and welcoming. Their approach reflected a collaborative and respectful team culture, which increased my interest in the role and company. Overall, this process left a strong impression on me, both in terms of how the company operates and the caliber of the people I would potentially be working with.
