It was a lengthy process that seemed tedious at the time, but was ultimately SO worth it! There were three interviews: a group one, a one-on-one (which was actually a two-on-one), and then a panel interview.

Behavioral Presentation

I sent in my application online and then followed up with an email to the program director. He liked my resume, and after I followed up a bunch, I got called in for an in-person interview with him and another instructor/admin. It was a pretty standard first interview, mostly about my background and experience. They offered me a second interview about a week later. The second interview involved a five-minute presentation where I had to teach a topic to the two people from the first interview, plus three new people who didn't know my area of expertise. They gave me feedback on my presentation's content, performance, and delivery. I kept following up for a few weeks. The holidays passed. They initially passed me over for a full-time position but then offered me a part-time role, which I turned down. Eventually, I did get a full-time offer, but the pay wasn't competitive, so I had to decline.

The interview process can be either a group session or a one-on-one. It's pretty relaxed, so no need to stress. Just be honest with your answers and explain how you'd manage situations when asked. Interviews are always nerve-wracking, but take a deep breath, do your best, and you'll do great. Definitely send a follow-up message afterwards!

I had a phone interview and then an in-person one with HR and a senior staff member. It was friendly and went well. But, they offered me a job with a salary lower than I wanted, even though I told them my current pay and that I wanted to advance.
