Had a chat with the VP of operations. We talked about various issues and problems, and what they do in terms of volume and average job size. I also shared some issues I'm facing in my current role. Then we discussed what the next steps might be.

I sent in my resume during a career fair at my college. The hiring manager reached out to me thereafter in three weeks. I had a small talk with the hiring manager after which she gave me a day a week later when I had to go to the office in Atlanta and give an in-person interview with a construction manager. The process was smooth but they did not get back to me with either a reject or an accept and also did not reply to my emails. I am assuming it was a reject from the company.

I chatted with one of their PM's at my college's job fair a while back and they reached out a bit later about coming in. The communication was good and the process was clear. The interview itself was alright, just with HR which was a bummer because I really wanted to talk to some of their PM's and engineers. They got back to me with an offer pretty quickly, which was great. They also give you compensation for your time, which is nice. The company seemed really professional and had a nice office too!

I initially connected with an HR rep at a career fair. A few months later, I got an invite for a one-on-one chat with a VP. It was a pretty laid-back conversation. We started by talking about the company and some of their big projects. The interview lasted about an hour, and we went over my resume, what I've been doing in school, and what kind of roles they had open. Just a heads up, try to get there a bit early because it's a little hard to find the office from the El station.
