First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EyeMed.
General Services Intern
The interview process included one HR interview and one interview with the Manager. The manager interview was 30 minutes and focused on questions about the role, my interest in the company, and my background. The HR interview was an hour long and involved a set of standard behavioral questions, with the supervisor also present. The entire process took about two weeks and felt fair, objective, and enjoyable.
- What would your previous manager say about you if I contacted them?
- Describe a time you made an error and how you dealt with it.
Account Associate
I had 2 phone interviews, then one in-person meeting. They told me I'd hear back in a few days about an offer. After a week, I called one interviewer and left a message. No call back. The next week I called the other interviewer and was told they were returning from the interview location and would call me next week. Still no contact, so I left another message for the first interviewer. Two weeks later, still no response.
- Can you describe your work ethic using just one word?
- What is your method for organizing tasks?
- Tell me about a time you made a suggestion and it was put into action.
Sales Operations Specialist
So I did a screening interview first, and then met with two senior VPs and who would be my direct boss for the in-person interview. I did a lot of company research, especially on what we were doing in the community, which I think helped me stand out. I really emphasized that even though I didn't have prior experience, I was very teachable.
- What would you contribute to the EyeMed team?
- What's a personal goal you're aiming for?
- Can you share an instance of a time you failed?
Intern
I talked to a few people. They asked about my background to see if I'd be a good fit. The questions were pretty easy. Everyone was really nice and I liked chatting with them. The whole thing was fast and they let me know back quick.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What about your prior internship experience?
