First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EyeHealth Northwest.
Receptionist
The hiring team seemed to have already decided on their preferred candidate before my interview. It was brief, and they didn't seem very engaged with my responses.
- Can you explain how your experience makes you a good fit for this role?
Receptionist
I was called in for an interview and they basically asked me when I'd be ready to put my notice in. They told me the pay, and then I was suddenly ghosted by the company.
- How do you handle difficult customers?
IT
I got in touch with a recruiter. They mentioned there wasn't an official posting since they were planning to let the current employee go. First, I had a phone interview, then two in-person ones. The interviews themselves were pretty standard. I was told I'd get an offer, but then heard nothing for a week. They then said they decided to give the current employee another shot. After a few more weeks, they told me they were moving on from that person and wanted to offer me the job. Later, they admitted the employee had actually quit unexpectedly. The offer they made was lowball, but they talked up the company culture a lot. Unsurprisingly, I wasn't interested in working there anymore.
- Can you share details about your background, with a focus on your healthcare experience?
- How comfortable are you with transitioning to our company's tech stack, considering it differs from your previous experience?
Patient Coordinator
I had a phone chat with a recruiter first, then a second interview with the supervisor. It wasn't too tough, they asked some behavioural and open-ended questions. The supervisor was pretty nice.
- What was the reason for leaving your last job?
