Le processus de l’entretien d’embauche s’est déroulé sur une période assez longue à cause des échanges par courrier électronique et des délais entre les différentes étapes de sélection. Il a commencé par un premier contact et une présélection à distance, puis a continué avec plusieurs entretiens successifs (techniques et RH), chacun planifié à des dates différentes. Les retours et les convocations se faisaient par email, ce qui a provoqué des intervalles de temps importants entre chaque étape avant la décision finale.

Classic interview process. The interview starts with a phone screen from HR where they ask basic questions about the job. After that they give you a personality test. If you pass you go to a second interview with a hiring manager and if they like you, you then get a technical interview and finally an offer. In my case, the hiring manager was very rude and it felt like he just wanted to get the interview done.

The interview process was organized and challenging, set up to deeply assess both technical and soft skills. It began with a technical screening centered on data structures, algorithms, and solving problems under time pressure. After that, I did live coding exercises where I needed to write clean, efficient code while explaining my thought process step by step. There were also system design conversations where I had to propose scalable solutions, defend architectural choices, and manage trade-offs. In the end, I answered behavioral questions focused on evaluating teamwork, communication, and how I deal with challenges in real-world situations. Overall, the process was demanding, thorough, and required strong preparation across several areas.
