Risk Manager
The interview process had two main stages. The first stage was a deep dive into my CV, including technical questions related to my experience. The second stage involved a case study presentation followed by some technical questions about valuing derivatives.
- Can you explain how a barrier option's value is affected when it reaches the barrier?
- Technical questions regarding derivative valuation.
Manager
So, the whole interview process has been a total mess. I started with an HR screening, and they told me there would be three more rounds. But, the HR person said they were new and didn't really know what the process would be like. They guessed it would take about 3-4 weeks. I tried to follow up with the senior HR person they gave me, but no reply. I then waited four weeks for the next round, still not knowing what to expect. The interviewer in the second round told me there were still three rounds left—two case interviews and one partner interview. This was different from what I was initially told. Even though the second-round interviewer was nice, it's been a really frustrating experience. It ended up taking almost two months of my time, and nobody from HR has gotten back to me since, which is pretty disappointing.
- What is your motivation for seeking this role?
Management Trainee
It was a 3 round process. First, there was an Articleship assessment test. Then, an HR Round. After that, a technical round, followed by a partner round. The HR will contact you if you clear all the rounds. Otherwise, you'll know you haven't been accepted and should look for other opportunities.
- Why did you choose EY over other Big 4 firms?
