Behavioral

HR Recruiter reached out over Linkedin for a quick chat because of my background and resume. The HR Phone screening review was unprofessional; they rescheduled the first meeting last minute and then were 10 minutes late to the rescheduled call. They asked pointed questions that didn't seem relevant to the role. There was no follow-up, and it seems like it might be an open position with no set timeline to fill it. This would have been a lateral move in the same exact line of work, so it was odd the HR people weren't professional.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process began with a short introduction, followed by questions about my motivation. Then there was a short case study and some technical questions. The process concluded with an interview with an HR person and a Manager from the department. The overall meeting was convenient, and the questions were fair. The interview was conducted on Teams.

Behavioral Technical Coding Case Presentation

So the interview process goes like this: first, there's an online numerical and verbal test. Then, a 30-minute HR behaviour interview. After that, an online hour interview with a senior consultant, which includes a case and a behavioural part. Next, another online hour interview with a director, same format. Lastly, a 30-minute behavioural interview with a partner. I actually did well in the first interview with the senior consultant; there were some brain teasers, usual behaviour questions, and a pretty simple case. I got to the second round with the director, which was kinda weird. They were unsure whether to conduct the interview in English or Czech, even though the job was posted in English and it's a regional team. The interviewer's questioning style was unclear and unnecessarily confrontational. I wasn't sure if the brain teasers were about the answer, the process, or if they were just going to lecture me. The case wasn't really a proper one either, just an unclear question where you're supposed to guess the 'right' answer that the interviewer wants. The whole vibe was just off. But the absolute worst part is that I never found out if I passed that stage. I followed up after a week, asking about the next round, and they just said they'd let me know, but never did. Total ghosting. So, if you care about your time, I'd suggest looking elsewhere than EY-P.
