I went through several interview rounds with important people from different teams that I would work with a lot. It gave me a good look at how different departments work together and how things are organized.

Behavioral Technical

I had an initial screening call with their talent recruiter which went well and was then asked to take a cognitive test (CCAT) and behavioral survey. The CCAT is definitely something you should practice ahead of time. It was a little frustrating, since the test is designed to be hard and stressful (15 minutes to answer 50 questions) with math questions and pattern recognition, none of which would be necessary to do in the actual job. So this seemed like an unnecessary hoop to make candidates jump through. I never got feedback on exactly what my score was, but was notified I made it to the next round and interviewed with the hiring manager. The call went well and was very conversational. Despite that, a day later, I received a boiler-plate "Thank you for your interest in Extensive" rejection email from the recruiter saying that they were moving forward with other candidates. Fair enough, but it would've been nice to get some kind of feedback.

First, you talk to the recruiter, who goes over basic details. This recruiter is pretty new to the company. Then, you complete a personality and aptitude test. The next interview is with the hiring manager and another person, focusing more on personality and situational questions.

The first interview was a phone call where they asked me a lot about my background, explained the role, and what they expect from someone in a growing company. They gave me some marketing scenarios and we talked about what strategies I would use to position the company and why. The second interview was in person, and I got to meet the owner, learn more about the company, and talk about future plans. The last interview was also on the phone, with someone from Operations, and we discussed marketing and sales tech, demand gen, and reporting goals. The whole thing took about 3 weeks, and I talked to several people during that time.
