The interview went great. Everyone I met with was super nice. I also did a mock proofreading assessment that was pretty easy. There were 3 rounds of interviews, each about 30 mins. I really thought I had the job, but then they decided to restructure and cut the pay. Seemed pretty misleading.

First, I had a phone interview with HR. Then, a few days later, I had another phone interview with the office director. The final step was a 4-hour onsite interview with four 1:1 meetings. I met with the HR rep, the office director, an administrative assistant, and a consultant I'd be working with. I got a phone call about the offer within about a week after the interview, and then a written offer.

The interview process involved 4 rounds with the supervisor, co-workers, office director, and an engineer. Following that, there was a take-home assignment to assess editing and writing skills, which needed to be submitted to the hiring manager. I believe I heard back within a week since they needed to fill the position quickly.
