First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Expleo Group.
IT Systems Engineer
The interview process had two parts. First was an HR interview over the phone, which was a general chat about the company, yourself, and a quick English check. It was very relaxed. The second part was a technical interview, conducted on Teams with two interviewers. They asked about ECUs and sensors, and about some maintenance tools. Knowing about or using similar tools was a plus, though one tool was acknowledged as being very difficult to know. The discussion was open, focused on how you think rather than exact definitions. The process moved quickly, with a final answer given in under a week.
- Could you explain what an ECU is and its basic function?
- Can you describe what a sensor is and how it operates simply?
Systems Engineer
Fast process. But from a job offer it became a rejection within 3 days. Whether this was due to internal or external factors (ongoing projects) was not communicated transparently or convincingly. But that's how it is.
- Did you fit in with the team/people when you were on-site?
Embedded Systems Engineer
The recruitment process is straightforward: first, a phone call with HR, followed by an interview with both HR and a technical interviewer. The questions, covering both technical and HR aspects, are challenging yet relevant, and the atmosphere is supportive. I really enjoyed the discussions and the follow-up throughout the hiring process. I highly recommend this company; it's a great place with many exciting projects and a focus on people.
- If you could do it again, what would you change and how?
