So I had 3 interview rounds in total. The interviewers were really nice and made me feel comfortable. The first round was a phone call with general background, some tech, and HR questions. The second round was a 40-min conference call since I was remote, with 4 interviewers asking mostly about my resume. You really need to know your resume inside out for this one. A week later, I went for the final in-person interview, which lasted about 2 hours. No reimbursement for this, by the way. A panel of 5 people asked a mix of technical and HR questions to check my attitude. They gave me a simple testing exercise and asked me to explain my answers. They seemed impressed and said they'd let me know in 2 days. After that, I had a chat with a manager who talked about my previous job and then went over company policies and benefits. Everything seemed to be going great, but then 3 hours after I left, they called to ask about sponsorship needs. I'm an international student with OPT, but I said I'd need sponsorship in the future, and they just hung up. This was unprofessional since I'd already answered this in the online form. Two days later, they sent a vague email saying they were 'moving in a different direction.' Unacceptable. International students should definitely clarify the sponsorship thing upfront to avoid wasting time and effort.

I submitted my application online and was contacted by the hiring manager for a phone chat. Next, I went onsite for an interview with three leads who fired questions at me for about 45 minutes. They then handed me a QA exercise to complete, which involved testing different modules. A few days later, one of the leads called to invite me for another onsite interview, this time with the team. This interview felt pretty similar, with HR and technical questions for an hour. The final interview was with the Senior manager to talk about the role and benefits. I got an offer three days after that, for a developer in test position.

First I spoke with the Hiring Manager, we talked about my past work and if I'd be a good fit for the team's culture. Then, I interviewed with the tech lead and some other senior QAs. That part was more focused on technical stuff.
