So the interview process was pretty smooth. It was broken down into three main rounds, not counting the initial video recording part. First, there was a video recording where you had to talk non-stop about why you applied and why you'd be a good fit. Then came the interview rounds. The HR interview was all about seeing if you'd fit in, and also about what you expect from the job and the salary. The manager interviews were more about getting to know you and included sales role-play since it's a sales job. They really want to see you use need-based selling and answer questions about your experience using the STAR method. The director interview was more laid-back, like a chat, but still asked "Tell me about a time when..." questions, particularly about sales stuff, to check your experience and how you think. Again, the STAR method is your friend here. Overall, it was a really good experience, everyone was super chill, friendly, and helpful, making it a comfortable and fun process.
- Can you share a time when events did not unfold as anticipated?
Senior Manager
The interview involved behavioral questions using the STAR framework and problem-solving questions. It kicked off with a 15-minute recruiter phone screen, followed by a 1-hour hiring manager interview. Then, there was a 3-hour interview loop with several managers. The interviews were mostly behavioral/situational, and they expected concrete examples. The interviewers were professional and courteous, and the recruiter was responsive. The process took longer than the 2-week timeline that was initially expected.
- Describe a time you had to deliver difficult news to an internal stakeholder or partner.

This was one of the worst interview experiences ever, I was really excited to interview for this role. They sent an interview request quickly. I replied to the recruiter thanking him for the interview invite and followed the link in a second email. It was a computer generated interview to assess personality, not job related questions. You have 30 seconds to read a prompt and 3 minutes to answer, with one retry per question. The whole process was automated with pre-written emails. I never heard back from the recruiter or spoke to a real person, and my follow up email was also ignored. It's unclear how personality can be judged in an automated interview with only 3 minutes per question. I thought I answered well given the time and expressed my excitement. While excitement isn't a qualification, the lack of communication or response shows the company's nature. I get that it's corporate and they need to filter applicants, but if they can't spare 30 minutes to talk to someone, I feel bad for the employees. Bummed, I was really excited. Applied Sunday, invited Tuesday, interviewed Tuesday night, rejected Wednesday morning. So it was quick.
