Had an online assessment, and then 3 first-round interviews. One was a codepair interview with a tech person in New York. Then there was a tech question interview with the London team, followed by a final interview back with New York. The whole thing took about 6 hours.

Technical Coding

I went through two rounds focused on algorithms. Each one kicked off with some questions about my resume, followed by technical questions on topics like K8s and Kafka. Then, we tackled two data structures and algorithms problems. The first problem was medium difficulty, and the second was harder, involving things like DAGs and priority queues.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you explain topological sort in the context of courses, and discuss priority queues?
  • Could you elaborate on topological sort for courses and priority queues?

Behavioral Technical

I interviewed for a Graduate Infrastructure Analyst position in Dec 2022. HR was quick to respond, and I ended up having 3 interviews. The first was general, focusing on my past experiences, times I faced and overcame issues, and any leadership roles I'd held. The second interview was with a Senior Information Security Engineer and was more technical than usual, with many questions about APIs and fewer about security measures. The last interview was a casual chat with the database team about my background. This company seems to blend infrastructure and software development. The whole process spanned about a month. While some interviewers seemed genuinely interested in my background, the HR team unfortunately ghosted candidates after the process.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • Can you tell me about yourself and your background?
  • Describe a time you had to lead your team during a challenging period.
  • Tell me about a problem you encountered and how you solved it.
