First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Exness.
Customer Support Specialist
HR reached out to me and I was in touch with the company's HRs throughout the process. The first step was a general chat about my background and experience. After that, they set up meetings with the Team Lead or Manager and also with some Team members. I really liked how my potential colleagues and team members were.
- Can you give an example of a situation or a potential problem you spotted early? How did you figure out what it was, and what fix did you suggest?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process for this customer service role was quite lengthy, spanning over a month. I'm applying for a customer service position at a Russian company, and I must say that if you're from a Western country, it might not be the best fit due to differing values. My experience at Exness involved multiple stages, and I successfully passed them all, even receiving an offer with a start date. However, just a few days before I was supposed to start, I received a WhatsApp message (not an official HR email) stating that the offer was being rescinded because they no longer needed staff for the position. It seems very unprofessional to conduct interviews for over a month, extend an offer, and then withdraw it via a text message. They avoided sending an official email, likely to prevent any official recourse given their unprofessional conduct.
- Suppose you're running a race and overtake the person in second place. What position are you in now?
Customer Support Representative
I sent in my application and got contacted by Summit Next, who are their hiring partner. The whole thing had a few parts: first, a recruiter chat, then an English Versant test, followed by CAP written and verbal tests, and then the last interview. I've been doing customer support for 8 years, so I was ready and passed everything. In the final interview, they asked about job hopping, which is pretty normal in the BPO world since people usually switch jobs every 18-24 months because there aren't many ways to move up internally. Even though I met all their expectations, I didn't get the job and they didn't give me any reason why. I tried asking both the recruiter and management, but nobody would tell me anything. The whole process took about a month, and I was really into it the whole time. It was super frustrating because it feels like they don't respect your time or effort. From what I went through, it seems like they might prefer hiring people who are new to the field or don't have as much experience.
- Be prepared for why do you want to change the job?
- Why have you changed your past jobs?
- What you are trying to achieve while working in customer support industry?
