First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Exela Pharma Sciences.
Process Engineer
HR reached out to me to set up a phone interview and I also had to do a personality test. The HR person and hiring manager were nice. After the phone chat, HR contacted me again to schedule an on-site interview. I think my skills weren't quite what they were looking for, but it was a good experience. HR and the hiring manager communicated well.
- Could you explain why you left your previous job?
Research Scientist
Applied on Exela's website and got an email super fast to set up a phone interview. It was with a bunch of people from the department and mostly about my resume and science stuff. A few days later, I got called in for an on-site. Before that, they sent me a big packet of HR questions to fill out. The on-site was pretty long, about 4 hours. I met with HR about benefits, then had several one-on-one chats with different department folks, and they showed me around the place. They seemed more interested in how I'd fit into the team, and it felt pretty chill.
- What's your approach to dealing with stressful situations?
- How do you prefer to collaborate within a team?
- Can you share an instance of a workplace conflict you experienced and how it was resolved?
Clinical Research Coordinator
I met with several members of the CRC team, including peers, management, and physician partners. When I got to campus, HR greeted me and took me to meet the rest of the staff. The interview panel was really friendly and welcoming. I had plenty of time to talk about my professional accomplishments and discuss expectations and how I could add to the team's current awesomeness!
- Tell me about a recent professional challenge you faced and how you handled it.
R&D Scientist
The people I spoke with were nice, and it felt like a casual conversation. It seemed like they were looking to hire three people but only had the budget for one, and I think they were struggling to find candidates, possibly due to the location.
- Can you tell me about your experience in Chemical R&D?
