Clinical Trial Associate
My interview experience was quite rough due to the recruiter. They were really rude, especially when I asked about salary, saying things like "no point wasting each others’ time, I have a lot of work to do, I have X many roles to fill" which isn't professional. I then had a remote interview with a specialist who was nice and knew their stuff. They mentioned it was a contract role, even though it was advertised as permanent. I got an on-the-spot offer. The recruiter was pushy again, trying to get me to accept terms and a start date before I even saw the contract, saying "I have hundreds of people who want this job if you don’t accept". I was concerned about overtime from reviews, but the recruiter promised zero overtime and that it was permanent. However, the contract stated mandatory unpaid overtime for targets and that permanency was project-dependent with only one week's notice for dismissal. I declined the offer because the recruiter's unprofessionalism left a bad impression, and the job should have been advertised as temporary.

Study Owner
The interview process had 3 stages. First, I spoke with the recruitment manager, then the client's manager, and finally the client. This was for a homebased contract, and all interviews were conducted over the phone. They had a friendly approach and asked relevant questions for the role. Since the client was US-based and the role was homebased, there was no face-to-face contact. I was informed about a trip to the US for training.

Clinical Trial Associate
The interview process was unremarkable. This job is basically an in-house contractor position so the terms are similar to contract agencies, but agencies pay much better. Time off is minimal - PTO must be used for holidays, no sick time given, that leaves little paid time off. Little opportunity for advancement. Culture heavily focused on nepotism. Expect to be paid the same as less experienced/educated coworkers. Job security questionable.

Study Manager
It was a relaxed interview, no stress. The interviewer, who was the manager, was nice. They read from a script, and since they weren't totally familiar with the questions, it took a bit longer than expected. It was a mix of process and experience questions, though some questions just asked about things already on my CV.
- Can you tell me about a challenge you faced and how you dealt with it?
