My interview experience was frustrating and seemed to highlight bigger issues within the organization. The hiring manager was also handling the recruiter duties, which resulted in a very disorganized process. My interview got rescheduled, and then it went on for more than an hour with a lot of aimless talking instead of a proper evaluation. What was most worrying was that I never heard back after the interview, and I had to be the one to follow up for an update. All in all, it felt like there was a lack of teamwork, the role wasn't clearly defined, and they didn't communicate well with candidates. I'd suggest the company needs to sort out its hiring structure, make sure roles are clearly defined before they talk to candidates, and ensure they follow up in a timely manner. It really shows a lack of experience on their part, and I truly hope they get better at it.

The interview process included a recruiter round where we discussed the job and my previous experience, followed by an engineering round with two engineers who asked me to elaborate on certain aspects of my resume.

The interview process was good and everything went well with the interviewer. The interviewer was very nice and polite. They asked about my background and how I found out about the job. They also tested my technical skills by asking how to solve a problem and told me what machine I would run after that.

I had a phone interview which went pretty good. Then, they invited me for an in-person interview where I met with two people. I mentioned my background with companies like NASA, SpaceX, Nissan, and Google. The interviewers seemed to have reservations about three things: first, they thought my previous roles involved creativity, which they felt this job doesn't, and they seemed to want someone more robotic. Second, they questioned if my age would affect my ability to handle the work pace. Third, they asked for an example of a high-stress situation from my past work. My example involved a former boss who frequently yelled at us, causing distress to coworkers, and the interviewers didn't react well to this, prompting me to say that they should expect any answer when they ask a question. Their behavior was quite rude and rushed, and I haven't heard back, but I can tell by how they acted what the outcome will be.
