First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Excelgens.
Salesforce Developer
The interview was tough but fair, and I thought it was a good chance to show what I can do. If you know Apex, Lightning, and SOQL/SOSL, you should be good to go.
- What's your experience building Lightning Components?
- Can you explain your process for troubleshooting and debugging Apex code in Salesforce?
- Could you share a story about a time you had to debug a really tricky issue?
Technical Manager
The interview process felt really organized, checking for both technical skills and how I interact with people. Everything went smoothly, and the interviewers were super professional and friendly. They made sure I knew what to expect at each step and that I felt good about it all.
- Can you elaborate on your technical expertise?
- What's your strategy for tackling problems?
- Share an example of a difficult technical issue you resolved.
Talent Sourcer
The interview process was quite straightforward and not particularly challenging. There were three stages: a recruiter round, a manager round, and a final interview with the president. I was ultimately selected, which made me very happy. The overall interview felt easy.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
Investment Data Analyst
The interview process had 3 rounds in total, and then the offer was extended. They didn't ask any nonsensical questions; they just wanted to assess the candidate's potential. The questions were mostly behavioral and situational.
- Basic finance questions
- Questions about your past work experience
- Situational questions about how you handle pressure
