Medicare Sales Insurance Broker
There were about 2 to 3 interviews with the recruiter, team lead, and manager. The team leads would call. Two peers told me these guys seem very unhinged as they hired them, from the 2nd interview, on the spot told them to text something like Market Place certificate and never heard from them again. Based on this interaction, you should probably never take this company seriously for anything other than a quick fill-in for something better, like next AEP.
- What was your average number of enrollments during AEP?
Sales Agent
It was a nice, chill, and informative chat where they went over my background, if I had the right licenses, and my sales experience in Medicare. Then we chatted more about how I help clients learn about Medicare, build relationships, and stick to the rules. They also talked about what they expect from an Independent Medicare Sales Agent (1099) and their company values, and how I fit with their education-first way of doing things. It was all about seeing if it was a good match for both of us, and I got to ask questions too.
- Tell me about your background, your licensing status, and your Medicare sales experience.
- Can you describe your approach to educating clients, building relationships, and ensuring compliance?
- What are the expectations for the Independent Medicare Sales Agent (1099) role?
Sales Agent
First, there's an information session. Then, you set up an interview. They use the STAR method. The interview felt pretty relaxed and conversational. Just be ready for the usual interview questions and to talk about your background.
- Can you tell me about your sales experience?
Sales
The process started with an application, followed by a 1-on-1 chat. Then, there was a detailed Q&A session with other candidates, which was part of the final stages. After that, I had another 1-on-1 with leadership, and within two days, I got an offer. The leadership team was really knowledgeable, organized, experienced, and straightforward.
