First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Evolphin Software.
Senior Software Engineer
I applied via email and HR was super quick to respond. The whole thing moved fast and was done remotely. It went like this: HR chat, then two technical interviews, followed by a manager chat, and finally offer discussions.
- Tell me about your general Java knowledge and work experience.
- How do you approach multithreading and designing solutions for a given problem statement?
Developer
So the first round was aptitude and the other was an interview. They asked simple questions. Total 15students cleared 1st round. and 3 of them got selected. package is really nice
- Can you tell me about some simple database concepts?
Software Development Engineer
They start with basic stuff and then go into harder questions. Lots of questions about designing frameworks, like how you would design ArrayList, HashMap. Also, Set versus List. They asked how to read a file line by line and handle the data in memory. And about how Java Garbage Collection works.
- What is the difference between GET and PUT requests?
UI Developer
Went through 2 tech interviews, mostly about logic and UI tools. They asked some CSS stuff and gave me code to write the output for. Then there was an HR round to see if I'm a good fit for the team.
- Can you explain React's lifecycle methods?
- What are the differences between class and functional components, and when would you use each with examples?
