Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had a brief initial phone call, and then was invited for a series of interviews. This involved meeting with a technical supervisor, a project manager, and then a more senior manager. Two of those three interviewers seemed really disengaged and just read questions from their screens. It felt very impersonal, like they were just going through the motions. Despite that, I moved on to a final round with the executive team. That last 'interview' actually started with them telling me it wasn't really an interview, but more of a discussion about the company and why I'd be a good fit. This is also when I first learned about the significant travel requirements for the role, which was a complete surprise and very disappointing since nobody mentioned it before. That travel requirement turned out to be a deal-breaker for me. A few days later, I received an email saying I didn't get the job from someone on the executive team, instead of a phone call. Overall, it felt like a pretty unprofessional interview process from my perspective.

It's a very long process and there's not communication from HR about the interview process and selection process. Lots of fake promises. Irrelevant questions asked in an interview. Management has no proper direction.

It was 3 rounds, each about a half hour long, with different people. The questions were similar across the rounds, and the interviewers were peers, not managers.

They started with a phone interview, not asking much. Then, a face-to-face meeting was set up with several people. I waited a lot. The interviewers seemed unhappy and unfocused. A lot of the questions were about handling tough clients, and they asked the same things over and over. Glad I didn't get a callback.
