First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Everspring.
Marketing Project Manager
I went through 2 interviews with Everspring and felt really good about both. They mentioned there might be one more in-person interview. I sent a thank you email, but then HR ghosted me. I ended up sending THREE more emails over a month to finally get a generic response after I messaged the hiring manager because I couldn't reach HR. They said the team moved on with other candidates. I thought the whole process was unprofessional; candidates spend their time on interviews and deserve better feedback and professional treatment. It's good I saw how they operate before getting involved.

Admissions Advisor
David Tuminello first reached out to me about the role. We had a 15-minute phone screen and he thought I was perfect for it. I'm really grateful to David because he helped me get my foot in the door. He kept in touch after each interview with Everspring to see how it went and made sure I was ready for them. David also scheduled my interviews quickly, giving me the chance to show why I'd be a good fit. I've never had a recruiter make me feel so comfortable and enthusiastic about a job before. I interviewed with six people in total, and while that sounds like a lot, they were all great. I enjoyed the whole interview process and would go through it again.

Director of Learning
I got an email the day after I applied, and set up an interview using a link. The day of, HR rescheduled. The next time, the HR person said my phone wasn't working so I called her. We started off okay, but then she asked about my experience leading instructional designers, faculty engagement specialists, and QA specialists. I said I had none, though I did talk about managing other teams. Then she asked about client-facing roles, and I talked about my experience with students, families, faculty, leadership, and community organizations. She then asked what I was looking for, and said they needed someone with experience leading that type of team and more client-facing experience. I felt my time wasn't respected because she didn't read my resume, which could have prevented this whole thing. The job requirements didn't mention this experience, only that they wanted 5-7 years in learning design or higher ed management, 3-4 years with faculty, a master's degree, and experience leading through influence, plus strong presentation and communication skills. It's a shame my time was wasted and this is how your company presents itself.

Instructional Designer
I had two phone interviews. The first one was with a recruiter who was leaving the company the next day, so I was going to be transferred to another recruiter. He only spoke to me for about 10 minutes, then had me email him bullet points for why I thought I was a good fit. The second interview was with the Learning Director, and it was great. She was professional, friendly, and helpful answering my questions. She asked expected questions and explained the job well.
