Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

It was a series of interviews over four weeks. I spoke with one of the founders (who would be my direct report), a Product Manager on the team, and the CTO. There was also a case study that I presented to them, plus five other department heads and team members in a remote panel. They also asked for work samples. Everyone was on time and friendly, which made for a relaxed atmosphere where I felt comfortable. The interviewers were genuine and clearly proud of their company. I really enjoyed the whole thing and came away with a lot of respect for the organization.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard for PM roles at serious companies. Eversight was really proactive, responsive, and considerate during the whole thing. It seems like a great place for really bright and kind people, which is why I accepted the offer. Eversight has a remote PM interview process with a few stages: First, a recruiter phone screen. Then, a fit interview with the cofounder & head of product (who is the hiring manager). After that, a PM skills interview with the CTO. Next, a virtual on-site with 4 interviews across departments and 2 final interviews with the Cofounder/Head of Product and CTO. Lastly, there's a post-offer reference check and background check, which was more in-depth than usual for PM or startup roles, more like a senior corporate leader role. You should prep your references to talk about your professionalism, character, and how you perform compared to other PMs they know. This might be tough depending on your background and if your references really know what makes a great PM. They are flexible though, so even though it surprised me and my references, it didn't stop me from joining.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview was well structured and focused on the candidate's values and their ability to work with somewhat unclear information. It started with a recruiter meeting to check for mutual interest, followed by several case studies involving UI Designers, Engineers, and other Product Managers.
