The entire interview journey felt pretty intense. While they were super communicative and got back to me fast, the whole thing dragged on for about a month. I ended up talking to a bunch of people on the team, even going through a panel interview where I had six back-to-back 30-minute chats in a single day. I also had to complete an assessment, and then there was this skills test where they watched over my shoulder via screen share as I actually did the work. Honestly, all that would have been manageable, but the kicker was when I didn't get the job. I asked for some feedback, and all I got was a brief email saying their company policy prevents them from giving any kind of feedback. It's a bit of a bummer to go through such a lengthy and involved process and then get absolutely nothing back in terms of feedback.

Everlaw's interview process is really thorough but they're upfront about everything, which I liked. They tell you what they expect and what they're offering without the usual back-and-forth. It's four interviews total. First, a recruiter screening call where they let me know I was moving forward. Then, a take-home assessment. About a week and a half after that, I got the next steps. The third step was a 30-minute call with a Support Team Member that included a 30-minute live technical assessment. For the live part, just take your time and show your thinking. I heard back about the next steps three days later. Finally, there was a 2-hour long interview with multiple team members, with a 30-minute break. My main advice for the whole process is to be friendly and professional, ask questions, and use all your allotted interview time.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process for this role is pretty extensive, which I guess is good to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. So first, I had a 30-minute chat with a recruiter. Then, they sent me a take-home assessment focused on customer service skills. After that was reviewed, I had another quick 30-minute Zoom call with a team member. The last part was a 3-hour long panel interview over Zoom with five people, including a 30-minute break. This final part included customer support questions, a technical part, two situational questions, and a wrap-up chat. It was a pretty good experience overall, and the recruiter was helpful in explaining what to expect. Everyone I talked to was really professional and nice.
