The interview process spanned two days. It included a research presentation and a sample teaching presentation. There was a hiring sub-committee and a larger committee involved, and an interview with the provost. The hiring committees were mostly faculty, with some student and staff involvement.

Professor
The interview process involved several parts. First, I had to give a public talk on a topic I believe is crucial for all undergraduates. Then, I was assigned an interdisciplinary subject and had to prepare and teach a lesson to a class. I also had to present my strategy for teaching a subject of my choice to the hiring panel. There were multiple panel and individual interviews, during which I was asked to generate course ideas spontaneously.

- In a program involving a computer scientist and a philosophy professor, how would you define your role?
- What course ideas can you come up with right now?
Faculty
The interview process involved a Zoom call followed by a two-day campus visit. Candidates had to deliver a teaching demonstration and a research presentation. There were meetings with various committees, the provost, and students. It was a long and tiring interview process, and unfortunately, their cafeteria wasn't great. The school itself is small, but they have a lot of procedures.
- Could you teach a core concept from your field?
Front Desk
