First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Evergreen Healthcare Group.
Business Office Manager
They didn't ask the kind of questions I would have expected. They seemed skeptical of the answers given. The Executive Director was new, and the entire management team had left with the previous ED. They didn't give me a chance to talk about my job skills because they didn't ask relevant questions.
- Tell me about your budgeting experience from previous roles.
Accounts Payable Specialist
The AP supervisor reached out via email and invited me for an interview for the AP Specialist role. The office environment was pleasant, and the people I met, including Marina, were great. The interview seemed to go well, and she mentioned she would follow up. After sending thank you notes, I waited two weeks and then followed up with Marina about a decision and if more info was needed. No response. Another week passed, and I sent another email expressing my continued interest. Still nothing. I never received a response regarding their decision. While I assumed I wasn't selected, it would have been polite to at least inform me, especially after I followed up twice. It's a simple courtesy to send a quick note saying they've moved forward with someone else. This lack of communication gave me a negative impression of the company, which is a shame because my husband has had a positive experience working there. I'm not sure if this is standard practice for them, but my advice to management or HR is to be considerate and notify candidates when they are not moving forward, particularly if the candidate has inquired. Ignoring people is not the way to go.
- Can you tell me about the volume of invoices you typically process each month?
Occupational Therapist
I applied online and a recruiter reached out to schedule a phone interview. Since I was out of town, I spoke with the rehab manager and another therapist at the facility. We discussed the setting and clinical caseload. The rehab manager got back to me quickly with an offer, and the recruiter handled the rest of the negotiation. It was a smooth and easy process.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience working with dementia patients in a Long-Term Care setting?
Service Desk Analyst
It was quick and easy. Heard back pretty much right away about the position I was interviewing for. Interview was very short but also straight to the point. So yeah.
