So I was working with a staffing agency and they set up the interview for me. The staff services coordinator called me to schedule it for the next week. When I got there, there was a group of people waiting at a table to interview me. It was a Human Resources manager, the Staff services coordinator, the School Events coordinator, and the Staff services manager. Before they started asking questions, one of them told me to try not to feel intimidated. Then, each person introduced themselves and their title and thanked me for coming in.

First I had to send in my resume, references, and transcripts, which is pretty standard for community college faculty roles. I thought I'd also send my teaching statement, but EvCC had its own specific questions they wanted answered. The interview with the VP of Instruction and the hiring committee happened on the same day, each lasting about an hour. I also had to do a teaching demonstration. Overall, I really liked the interview process and found the campus easy to get around.

It was a pretty standard public college interview process. The interview itself was an hour, and was held in a classroom. They gave me a set of questions, which they gave to all the other candidates who interviewed for the position. They asked the questions verbatim from the question sheet. There was also a teaching demo. I was told about the topic ahead of time so I could prepare.
