First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Everest Technologies.
Technical Lead
The interview process was good. They arranged several virtual rounds for technical discussions. There was also one in-person HR interview at the Hyderabad location. The discussions were good, and I'm looking forward to further discussion.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
Data Engineer
So, I had this initial chat with the recruiter, and they were pretty good, laid out the whole process clearly. But then things got kinda weird. The recruiter started being super pushy, like, pinging me constantly through messages, emails, and calls before every interview, even though I was always on time. Funny thing is, they were the ones who ended up rescheduling the technical interview last minute. The tech interview itself was okay, not too hard, and I thought I did fine based on what they said. Then they asked me to tweak my resume for the client, which I did right away. After that? Radio silence. No word, no feedback, nothing. It was pretty disappointing not to hear back, especially if they weren't moving forward. A quick heads-up would've been nice.
- Can you describe how you would go about optimizing an SQL query that's experiencing performance issues?
Mechanical Engineer
I went to the company and met the director of mechanical engineering. The office seemed a bit old and cramped, but the location was convenient with plenty of parking.
- Can you share details about your professional background?
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself personally?
- What are your experiences with different production technologies?
QA Team Leader
We went through multiple interview rounds for this position, which were postponed several times. In the end, no offer was given and when I asked about the role, I was told it was filled internally. It's strange to interview external candidates and give good feedback if the position was already going to be filled internally.
