It was a multi-step process. I first met with the Manager of the CS team, then the VP and CEO. There was a mock pitch where the company gave me basic information and tools needed to do the presentation. They said I might need to bring my own device like a laptop or tablet.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I got another interview request after already having one later in the week, similar to what someone else posted. The new VP's interview was aggressive and frankly insulting. It seemed like he felt threatened by my skills and needed to prove he knew more. I was really surprised; I've never experienced anything like it. I believe in their product and would consider applying again if this person were no longer in such a high position. I think they'll realize they made a mistake. Culture is crucial, and it won't be strong with this individual leading. It was a very negative experience.

This was a phone interview and it was a pretty standard process- asking about my leadership style and skills, what my current role was like, etc. The conversation went well, at least I thought, because the interviewer mentioned that they wanted to schedule some time with the Director, who would be who the role would report to. I waited about one week and heard nothing so I sent a follow-up email. Still nothing! I find it so unprofessional when a company can’t respond to a candidate to let them know of what their status is. I understand if the position was filled, they decided to go with another candidate, etc...but have the common courtesy to your candidates to at least let them know. Especially for a start-up if a small size. It left a bad impression as to the Company as a whole.

This interview process was absolutely terrible! It started with an initial face-to-face meeting and then a mock sales pitch. The whole process dragged on for over 4 months. To top it off, after 2 months of complete silence, the HR coordinator finally told me that my resume was shared with the VP of sales and that I supposedly didn't have enough experience? You should definitely steer clear of this company.
