Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard, mostly behavioral questions with some about my experience. The interviewers seemed engaged. However, the decision took a surprisingly long 5 months after the interview. I figured I didn't get the job when my follow-up messages were ignored. It's weird and not really professional to get back to me that late just to say no. My feedback would be to speed up decisions and communicate with people asking for updates. It's just polite and the right way to handle it!

The hiring process was a six-month ordeal. It took them three months just to get back to me after I applied, then another month to set up the panel interview. After my final interview, which included mapping out staff needs and discussing salary and start dates with leaders, I was ghosted for two more months. They even sent me health insurance details and I was planning travel. Finally, I got a generic rejection email.

I sent in my application online. Then I had an initial interview. After that, I had a second interview that had two panels. I didn't get any feedback or follow-up. I never knew who I would be meeting with until I was already there. Since I asked, I was able to find out how long the interviews would be and how many people I'd be talking to.

I applied online for an AP position and got a call to meet. The AP Supervisor passed my info to the Staff Accountant Supervisor. I interviewed with the head of Accounting and it seemed to go well, but I haven't heard back yet.
