The interview process spanned about three months. It started with a phone call after I applied. Then, I got a writing assignment to complete a mock pitch. Following that, I had an online meeting with a team lead based in Irvine. After that, I had another online meeting with a different scientific consultant located in NC. Then, I was asked to go to the Irvine location for an online meeting with the director and to give an online presentation to three other employees from NC. I was invited to lunch, but unfortunately, I didn't get the job offer. The employees there seem really happy with their jobs and frequently mentioned how collaborative the workplace is. A significant portion of the interview time was dedicated to them explaining the job and what a typical day looks like. Make sure you have a lot of questions ready for them because they often asked me if I had any questions about the company.

It was a quick 15-minute chat with the hiring folks, done over the phone. They set it up ahead of time, and I could have done it on Zoom or Google Meet if I wanted.
