First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Europa Sports Products.
Customer Service Representative
I had two interviews. The first was with the Customer Service manager, and the second was with the Human Resources department. Both interviews were quite brief and straightforward.
- Can you tell me about your knowledge of our products and the system used for order processing?
Buyer
The hiring process was quick and efficient. I had two in-person interviews and a drug test all within the same week. They told me I'd start within a week because they needed to fill the position right away, and they had already interviewed over a dozen other people.
- Tell me about your experience with teamwork.
- Since this is a salaried position with no overtime pay, are you willing to work late and put in extra hours when needed?
Purchasing Agent
So, I had two phone interviews first. Then, after that, two in-person interviews were scheduled with the purchasing manager and the GM. I was actually in the middle of moving states, and due to some scheduling issues, I had to take one of the phone interviews from a coffee shop while I was driving across the country. They told me the interviews went really well and that I was a good fit for the role. Then they said they'd be in touch in a few days. Honestly, after the last interview, I felt pretty confident I'd get the job. But then they just ghosted me. No calls back, no returned messages, and not even a rejection email, which is how most companies handle things nowadays. I thought that was pretty bad form considering all the effort I put in.
- Have you previously managed purchasing and inventory for multiple locations?
Warehouse Manager
When you get there, you'll meet people and get a tour of the building. Afterwards, we'll head back to the office where you'll answer some questions and we'll chat to see if you're a good fit for our company culture.
- What areas did you notice that could be improved?
