The general manager reached out to me about scheduling an interview, and I went in the following day. They asked me about my availability and skills. I got a job offer right there and then.
- Can you tell me about your availability?
- What skills do you have?
Server
It was mostly just about whether I had prior work experience, and then they asked if I had any questions for them. I basically got hired right away. They'd always mention that I had little to no experience in the field.
- What's your availability like?
- When can you start?

Had two interviews then some written tests on menu knowledge, and food/drink tastings. The managers interviewed us one-on-one, starting with general questions then moving to specific ones about scenarios. The written tests were kinda hard, asking about every ingredient in the complex burgers and all the ways we can upsell.
- Can you describe how you would encourage a customer to spend more on their entree?
- What are the ingredients that go into the complex burgers?
- What are all the possible opportunities for upselling?
