First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eugene School District 4J.
Educational Assistant
It's the usual setup. They'll chat with you about your past experiences, ask for more info about things on your resume, and then quiz you on a tough situation you faced. They also want to know how well you'd fit the role.
- Can you share if you've assisted a child with toileting?
Human Resources Generalist
The first interview was in person with an interdepartmental group which ended with a short writing test (responding to an angry e-mail). The second interview was with a smaller group from only that department. Both felt pretty standard in format.
- There were a lot of customer service questions
Head Coach
Interview process was straight forward. 7 questions asked by rotating interviewers. Practical and to the point. 30 minutes total. The interview was only questions asked to me but they didn't allow time for me to ask any questions to them.
- Regarding the scheduling of shared school resources and facilities among different athletic programs, how would you manage it?
Software Developer
It is usually pretty straightforward. You'll be asked to create a basic application that stores data in a MongoDB database. The app should save data to the back end whenever a call is made from the front end.
- Can you develop an application API using Spring Boot and Angular? This application should save data to a MongoDB database.
