First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ETS-Lindgren.
Accounts Receivable Specialist
It was easy to chat with the interviewer and they provided good info about the job. HR was also helpful with details on benefits, vacation time, and the company overall. Everyone was really nice and friendly, and the company felt very professional.
- Could you tell me about the different ERP systems used?
HR Generalist
The interview was pretty simple. The person interviewing me asked the usual questions like 'tell me about yourself' and 'why you wanna work here'. Then, they went over the job description and asked for times I've done each of the things on there.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
- Why are you interested in this particular role?
Software Engineer
The first round was supposed to be a 30 min general interview but it turned into an hour technical interview where they asked about my family status and number of kids. The second round was onsite and it was pretty cool seeing all the equipment. The employees were making jokes about nepotism. The third part was a programming exercise to take home. After these 3 unprofessional rounds, the recruiter ghosted me for 2 weeks. When I reached out, they said they promoted someone internally for the position, which is funny because the position reappeared on LinkedIn. My advice is don't waste your time with this company if they are going to promote internally and not be upfront about it.
- How many kids do you have?
Project Management Assistant
I was nervous at first, but I calmed down quickly. It was a 40-minute interview with the Manager of Project Managers, the HR Manager, and the Operations Manager. Two people were on Lync video call, and one was in person. I did well because I have project management experience and knowledge, which helped me answer the questions correctly.
- What are your methods for determining if a project has been successful?
