First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eton Bioscience.
Lab Technician
So basically I had two interviews. The first one was a practical test, they wanted to see me use different kinds of pipettes and if I could follow instructions properly. The second one was more of a chat with someone from the team, focused on how I handle situations and stuff.
- What are your future aspirations?
Lab Technician
The hiring process was straightforward and quick. I applied online through Indeed and was subsequently invited for an in-person interview. This interview lasted approximately 30 minutes and included a brief skills assessment. During the assessment, I was asked to accurately and quickly dispense small liquid samples using a pipette under timed conditions. While speed is a factor, the evaluators indicated that demonstrating effort and a willingness to improve accuracy and speed over time would be considered favorably, implying it wasn't an absolute deal-breaker if initial speed was not exceptional.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Laboratory Technician
The interview process was pretty standard. They asked a lot about my past work. It was under an hour, but it felt pretty negative. It was informal with a lot of personality questions. Seemed like everyone there is unhappy.
- What made you decide to study your major?
