I had two rounds of interviews, and the people I talked to were really nice. They asked me to create a sample post for them to look at. They gave me a good amount of time and a lot of direction for it.

The first phone interview was like a formality, the recruiter had a list of questions and just went through them. Then, the second round was with an HR person and the hiring manager where they asked some behavioral questions and went over my resume.

After applying, I met the team manager at a coffee shop to learn more about the company, the role, and get to know them. They also asked about my skills, understanding, and methods. Then, I had a formal interview with the team manager, QA manager, and senior developer in a conference room. It was friendly and the conversation went well. Meeting the manager beforehand helped me anticipate questions and know who I'd be talking to.

The hiring process began with a writing assignment that had a deadline. The topic was clear, and although the deadline was a bit tight due to other commitments, I got an extension to the next morning, which was approved. After passing the writing test, I had an interview the following day. It went really well, and I got the job offer that same day. This was when Etna Interactive was at their old office, so the hiring process might be different now as the company has grown.
