First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ETHOS.
Data Engineer
The HR process has been really frustrating, they rescheduled the interview three times even after I cleared the first three rounds. Then, when I was supposed to talk to the VP, they said he was busy and would reschedule in a week. HR later called to ask why I was looking to switch jobs, which is weird since they have my resume and I've already done multiple interviews. If I'm not a good fit, they should just tell me instead of leaving me hanging. I expected better.
- I had two technical rounds, one focusing on SQL and the other on data modeling. The SQL round included some basic SQL questions.
Data Scientist
The process was pretty structured. Started with an HR call to give an overview of the company. Then, a one-hour preliminary call with the hiring manager to discuss my experience. After that, there was a technical screen, followed by a case study. Finally, the last round had more than 4 interviews.
- Can you explain the basics of logistic regression?
- Can you explain the basics of linear regression?
Case Manager
It was a long and tough process, took about 8-10 hours total, and I met with 6 different interviewers. It felt very fair and overall it was a pleasant experience. I'd recommend this employer just based on how thorough their interview process is.
- What makes you want to join Ethos?
Sales Associate
It was a standard Q and A. They mostly asked about my past experience and what motivates me. The interviewers acted a bit superior and like they were the most important people. They were also really unclear about what the job actually entailed.
- What are your future goals?
