Engineering Manager
The interview process had five rounds with various stakeholders, followed by reference checks. It differed from the job posting; there was an extra one-hour panel interview, and the executive round was 30 minutes longer than stated. A Wonderlic assessment was given, supposedly to tailor interview questions, but it had no bearing on the questions asked. After I submitted references promptly, they weren't contacted for two weeks, and then it took another three weeks for a decision. I followed up four times, and the recruiter seemed unaware of the status but suggested I'd hear back within the week. Ultimately, I was informed the offer went to someone else. This entire experience was a waste of time due to poor communication and lack of feedback, negatively impacting my job search progress. The process felt disorganized, which in hindsight might have been a good thing. Management should be more considerate of candidates. Such treatment of candidates likely reflects how employees are treated, suggesting potential issues with burnout, disinterest, and company culture.
- Can you describe your previous work history?
Sales Development Representative
So, there were three rounds in total. First up was a recruiter chat, then I spoke with the hiring manager. The final stage involved meeting with the CEO and a team lead. Sadly, after that last round, I never got an update, and my follow-ups were completely ignored.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
Account Executive
The process was super quick and clear, with 4 rounds happening in less than 3 weeks. It was pretty unusual but cool that I interviewed with one of the Co-CEOs in the second round. I really liked getting to talk to one of the business owners early on and learn about leadership. It felt more like they were trying to get to know me as a person rather than just going through my resume. I got to ask all the questions I had throughout. It was refreshing to show my natural sales skills without just reciting my resume. I ended up accepting their offer even though I had other offers and my current job.
- Tell me about your biggest success in past jobs.
- Can you share your biggest failure from previous roles?
Risk Specialist
The interview process was really nice. The people were very friendly, which makes it seem like a great workplace. The process was quite long and involved several assessments and three different interviews.
- Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
