Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ethica.
COTA
It was direct, informative, and upfront. The interviewer led a tour of the facility and provided realistic expectations about hours, caseload, and uniform. They did discuss with you prior that you had to do a drug screen prior to the interview.
- Is it possible to work at multiple facilities?
Rehab Aide
I met with someone at the nursing home facility. We sat in a room and talked through my resume and some questions about my past work experience. After that, I took a computer test that was pretty basic. I heard back from a regional supervisor within a week.
- Regarding your file auditing experience, could you describe the key aspects you focused on during your previous audits?
Rehab Aide
I saw the job posting on the Georgia Department of Labor's website and then they reached out to me for an interview. I went to one of their facilities and had a short interview, followed by about 30 minutes of computer-based testing. A week after that, management contacted me for a second interview, and then a week after that, I was hired.
- Can you describe the auditing experience you've gained from your past roles?
Charge Nurse
First there was a phone interview. I had to fill out an application and sign some papers that said I would be hired if everything checked out. Then I had a one-on-one interview with the DON, ADON, and another RN. They asked me skills questions and about my past employers. After that, it was a background check and a drug screening.
- What would you do in various patient scenarios?
- What are your previous experiences?
