After my initial application, I was asked to go on-site for one-on-one interviews with several key stakeholders right away. There were two meetings with key stakeholders, which were pretty standard and asked regular application questions. The interviews ended with a promise that they would get back to me in two weeks. After not hearing anything for over a month, I tried reaching out to their HR contact multiple times, but they never responded. I also reached out to the people I interviewed with, but they didn't respond either. I was ghosted after the in-person interviews.

First, there was an HR interview about my background and what motivates me. Then, I had a second interview with the hiring manager and site director where we talked about technical skills, my experience in financial controlling, and some business scenarios. The company took a while to get back to me, but their feedback was helpful and clear.

I went through an initial HR screening, and then got invited to a second and final interview. It was pretty intense, meeting a lot of people for about 3 hours straight. Afterwards, HR called saying they wanted to extend an offer, but needed one reference check, which I provided and thought went well. Then, they came back with another request, asking for my payslip. I initially said no, but they insisted, saying no payslip meant no offer. I eventually agreed and sent it. After a few days of silence, I followed up. A different HR person told me they wouldn't be offering me the job due to a lack of budget, which I suspect is a BS excuse. Lesson learned: never show your payslip, it's irrelevant. Their insistence and threat of no offer revealed their true colors.

So, the interview process is pretty thorough, covering a lot of ground to make sure you're a good fit technically and culturally. It starts with an HR Interview to check if you fit the company vibe, see if your career goals align, and confirm you meet the basic requirements. Then, there's a Technical Task, where you'll tackle problems related to the job to show off your skills and how you approach things. After that, a Manager Review happens, where they'll likely discuss your technical task, how you solved it, and the choices you made, to gauge your technical chops and team fit. The last stage is a Presentation of Tasks Done in PowerPoint, where you present your technical work to a panel, testing your communication and presentation skills. This whole thing takes about two months, giving you plenty of chances to chat with future colleagues and get a feel for the company.
