Mobile Software Engineer
Got recommended this company via a recruiting agency. Sent in resume and had to provide past employer references. Had an initial recruiter phone screen about job details and that it's on-site. Then met with two IT managers who talked about the project and team, then asked about my experience. Recruiter called a week later saying they hired someone else. Feedback was that I was 'too honest', which is confusing, so I moved on.
- Can you share some details about your background?
- Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with a coworker.
- What's the most recent technical topic you've learned?
Product Support Specialist
The interview process started off super friendly! Before getting the offer, I went through three interviews in total. The entire thing, from when interviews kicked off to the job offer, spanned about a month and a half.
- Can you share an example of a tough decision you had to make, how you dealt with it, and what happened in the end?
Technical Product Manager
The interview process was pretty laid-back. It started with a chat with HR over the phone. Then, I had a phone call with two managers. The final step was an in-person meeting with one manager. They were a bit slow in getting back to me because their industry is quite niche, and I didn't have the exact experience they were looking for, although I did possess other relevant skills. They're really picky about who they hire.
- What do you foresee as the biggest challenge for you in this role?
Marketing
I had a few conversations, first with HR and then with the managers in my department. I also took a personality test. The manager interviews were pretty chill and felt like a natural chat instead of a rigid Q&A. The HR part was more about my general work style and how I'd tackle issues. I did a phone chat before coming in person.
- What's your preferred way of working?
- Given a certain situation, how would you handle it?
- Can you describe your project organization methods?
